Wimbledon is a sporting event in the UK calendar like no other – there isn’t an elitist sporting event adjourned by as many or watched on television as Wimbledon. In such high esteem, if you are lucky enough to attend Wimbledon then you will want to make sure you dress for the occasion. As such we have put together our guide on what to wear to Wimbledon this summer.

What to Wear to Wimbledon - Summer Tailoring

It looks likely the weather will continue to be cracking and as such a carefully chosen outfit is paramount. We still want to look the part – who knows you may even get invited into the royal box on centre court.

We start with our tailoring and the need for some lightweight suiting – this suit from Hardy Amies on Saville Row is perfect for the occasion. A light grey with a wonderful check, it is a suit for ny occasion. Also sold as separates, you can mix and match with other items to make it a suit which really is flexible and a staple of any summer wardrobe.

Summer Tailoring and Suits

To match the suit we went for a plain white, open colar shirt (well it is summer after all), teamed with a pair of brown monk shoes and matching belt.

The watch is an original tweed strap Birline Watches, finished in blue. This blends beautifully with the light blue lines through this suit and you could be forgiven for thinking that were made for each other.

Sun protection is of course going to be one of your main accessories – and we don’t mean suncream. These rounded frame sunglasses offer premium protection for your eyes and are from Mont Blanc.

Lastly, the bag. Whilst not an essential, it certain adds a little bit of flair and intrigue to the outfit – and provides the perfect carrier for your strawberries and cream?

What to Wear at Wimbledon

If you wanted to change things up you could go for some white tennis shoes instead of the monks to down dress a touch.
