After rumours over the last few days it seems the credit crunch has again hit us with confirmation that that the 2010 British Motor Show has been cancelled until further notice.

Organiser IMIE said it will relaunch the exhibition, but won’t give a date. MD Rob Mackenzie said: “The show will be postponed until market conditions permit us to stage a world class event.”

Rumours have it that the floor space at London’s Excel Arena in the Docklands has been booked just before the 2012 Olympics, so I t may only miss the one show (being a bi-annual event)
