The man behind the Bamford Watch Department, George Bamford, knows a thing or two about customisation. Having worked with most of the timepiece big boys, including Rolex, Bamford has now set his sights on a car — the Bentley x Bamford Mulsanne Speed, to be exact.
For over 70 years, Mulliner has created bespoke additions to the Bentley range and their latest addition to the line-up sees George Bamford, the man behind the UK’s foremost bespoke timepiece personalisation company, given the freedom to create a car like no other. Feast your eyes on the Bamford x Bentley Mulliner.
With an acceleration of 0-60mph of just 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 190mph, this Mulsanne Speed’s craftsmanship is beyond compare, and it’s been styled according to Bamford’s unique vision too. Bamford Watch Department is renowned for its signature colour scheme – a ‘Black-on-Black’ style, often complemented by a flash of Aqua Blue – and the same colour scheme can been seen on the this one-of-kind Bentley.
The body of the Bamford x Bentley is adorned in Bamford’s traditional ‘Darkware’ finish with features including ‘Speed’ wing vents, the iconic matrix grille, and Bentley badges on the bonnet and the boot.
Inside, the theme continues with features such as the bullseye air vents, bezels and controls having been replaced with ‘Darkware’ too. Even the car’s wheels – a bespoke design based on the 21” Mulliner Driving Specification wheels – are Black. All of this Black has been finished with flashes of Bamford’s trademark Blue accent colour.
As you’d probably expect, the Bamford x Bentley Mulliner Mulsanne Speed is Bamford’s own personal car, and therefore one-of-a-kind. Head over to the Bentley Website to check out more details.
