Car S.O.S Season 4 Preview
If you’re not familiar with Car S.O.S., we think you should be. Season 4 is back tonight on National Geographic and follows presenters Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townsend as they take run down vintage beauties and restore them to their once former glory!
Each episode, the duo meet Joes who are in need of a helping hand. The cars – sometimes just a shell – are secretly whisked away to a well-equipped workshop where the work really begins. Three weeks of grease, graft and mechanical know how ensues before a restored masterpiece is then returned to a rather surprised owner.
Season four of Car S.O.S. begins tonight with Tim and Fuzz racing against the clock to rescue a stunning 1964 Volvo P1800 made famous by cult 60s action series ‘The Saint’, which starred Sir Roger Moore.
When the car’s owner Peter suffered a major stroke, his plans to get his beloved car back on the road became a distant dream. While Fuzz sets to work on the car’s rusty shell, Tim sets out to track down *the* Bond of all Bonds to bless the car in time for it to be returned to its unsuspecting owner.
Car S.O.S. returns Thursdays at 8pm on National Geographic Channel and will continue on Thursdays where a 1974 BMW 2002 Turbo and a mighty Datsun 240z also get made-over. For more information check out the National Geo website.
