Ferrari has just uncovered details of the new Ferrari FF, the companies first ever four-wheel drive car. The car which takes it’s FF from Four Seats and Four wheel drive is the one of the fastest ever four seater road cars and hits 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds before bottoming out at a massive 208mph.
Power is from the 6.2 direct injection V12 engine which produces 651bhp to the four wheels. You will also find an F1 paddle gearbox controlling that front mounted beast. The FF is an out and out replacement for the 612 Scaglietti and features near perfect 50:50 weight distribution for what Ferrari will hope will be perfect handling on a variety of surfaces.
According to Ferrari, it “delivers record levels of performance on all terrains and all conditions via continuous and intelligent predictive torque distribution to all four wheels”.
So what do you guys think? When I first saw it I immediately thought BMW 1 series? A longer, squashed version obviously! Is that to harsh or was I right?
Let us know.
