Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse

This latest edition (the 15th) of the soon to be retired Gallardo is the model most closely allied to the race cars being produced by Lamborghini’s new motorsport department, and as a result the race dept and the car share an Italian name – ‘Squadra Corse’ which translates simply to ‘Race Team’ which should give a little hint into the performance.
Under the hood is a 5.2 litre V10 engine which produces 570bhp, propelling the Squadra Corse from 0-62 in 3.4 seconds and topping out close enough to 200 mph that the difference doesn’t really matter. There are carbon-ceramic brakes, 19 inch forged wheels, and contrast callipers to complement the traditionally aggressive Lamborghini styling.
The race features are what bring the Squadra Corse into its own with a large rear spoiler improving the downforce, and a quick release removable engine cover taken straight from the Lamborghini race cars. Other features which make the Squadra Corse special are the Italian flag inspired decals on the flanks of the vehicle in red, white and green and the Alcantara and Carbon-Fibre interior trim.
Lamborghini haven’t revealed a price, but if your are in the market for one, you might want to hold fire for the Cabrera…
