We don’t think there’s two things we love more on this planet than cars and Lego. So geeks around the world unite and rejoice at the sight of the new Lego Ferrari F40! And not just one made by a fan – a real, authentic one made by Lego and licenced by Ferrari.
The whole set comprises of 1,158 pieces with some of those pieces having to be specially designed to ensure the most realistic F40 possible. For the connoisseurs out there, you’ll notice the windscreen and wheel design are particularly on point.
As this is Lego, they don’t do half measures, so the attention to detail is pretty extraordinary. The pop-up headlights, NACA ducts and the trio of exhausts at the rear did raise just a little smile.
You’ll also notice that the Lego Ferrari F40 comes with a miniature scaled twin-turbo V8 engine! While it doesn’t quite chuck out any of the 478 horsepowers, you can view it through the bonnet which also comes off. Pretty cool, hey?
12,000 times smaller than the real thing, you’ll be able to get hold of the Lego Ferrari F40 kit for RRP of £69.99 when it comes on sale in August. Not cheap for a toy but a fair bit cheaper than the real thing! Save us a spot in the queue next month!
