New 2013 Volkswagen Golf

You can tell the Paris Motorshow is coming ever closer, we had the all new 2013 Range Rover, then last week it was the Citroen DS3 Cabrio, and now we have the all New 2013 Volkswagen Golf.
This new 2013 Mark VII (Seven) VW Golf has one of the hardest acts to follow in the world of motoring. The original Mark I is still one of my favourite cars of all time, and I WILL own an original GTI to grow old with. Of course now we live in a world of saving and efficiency, and that is very what VW are looking at with the new incarnation, apparently 23% more efficient than the previous model.
The all new range of petrol and diesel engines feature stop/start technology, with 2 engines for each at launch. A 1.2 TSI 85 PS or 1.4 TSI 140 PS petrol option, and a 1.6 105 PS or 2.0 150 PS diesel option. Inside, the new 2013 Golf models will have touchscreens as standard (PRAISE THE LORD!) and a minimum screen size of 5.8 inches, up to the range topping 8 inch model.
Looks wise, we kinda like. It is not ground breaking, the front seems very much like the current version but lower, much like the Scirocco, and the back looks like a slicker version of the Mark V? Interesting to see what people think!
The New 2013 Volkswagen Golf will be seen in public for the first time in Paris later this month and will ship in Europe from early 2013.
