new-2020-jaguar-ftype-launch

6 years, can you believe that 6 years have passed since the launch of the original F-Type. Catapulting Jaguar back into the premium car market and finally a car worthy of the badge after years of misses. Well the modern day icon is now being reborn and having a facelift as we life the lid on the new 2020 Jaguar F-Type.

Now at a very first glance you may be thinking what’s changed, that famed rear end is still there in all it’s glory and there aren’t major changes to the lines either – but take a closer look.

The rear light have become slimmer and with the addition of increased rear haunches the whole rear just looks a little more meaty. The bonnet includes air intakes and above the arches becomes raise and perhaps a little squarer – in all if gives the car a much more masculine feel and looks more compact and stocky in appearance. We like.

Whilst when launched the interior was ahead of any sportscar out there, 6 years is a long time in the tech world though and this is the one place a revamp was probably needed. The new 12 inch driver display which is completely configurable adds more customisation to proceedings on this front and drags us into 2019.

In total there will be 7 different spec and engine options for the new Jaguar F-Type as follows;
