New BMW 4 Series Coupe

The rumour mill finally ceases as the all new BMW 4 Series Coupe finally becomes official, replacing the current 3 Series coupe.
Debuting at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the official BMW 4 Series Coupe pictures show us exactly what to expect. The rear wheel drive 2+2 seater is a cross between the 4-series concept and the current 3 series. A change in vision from BMW means the new 4 series coupe will be a more select car, and thus more expensive.
New BMW 4 Series Coupe is lighter and faster than the outgoing model, and dare we say it, tamer? It seems the whole design has been dialled back, perhaps to appeal to a more disconcerting gentleman than the outgoing model. The range begins with a quite modest 420d with 180bhp and capable of towards 60 mpg, and the range is spearheaded at launch by the range topping BMW 4 Series Coupe 435i, featuring 302bhp and hitting 62mph in 5.1sec.
Prices are rumoured to start at £32,000 and the release date should be late 2013.
For us, the New BMW 4 Series Coupe just doesn’t quite piece together, the rear looks like a squashed X6 but without the aggressive punch, let’s just hope it’s better in the flesh.
