We headed to Portugal to put the Peugeot 308 GTI through it’s paces both on the road and of course around a track. The 1.6 turbo charged engine pushes out 270 BHP on the top of the range 270 which whilst giving excellent power and torque throughout the range, also passes on a very solid mpg when using the car in a more everyday basis. With 40 mpg easily achievable whilst still offering 0-60 in a very healthy 6 seconds.
