Toyota Electric iQ

The Toyota iQ (probably the only city car we would consider owning) has just gone down the electric route. Not content with just being economical, Toyota have confirmed the electric iQ will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March and then hopefully released in Europe during 2012.
Everything is pretty much the same as the standard iQ in terms of design, with the new flat lithium-ion battery pack which sits beneath the floor. The leaves the boot and interior pretty much untounched though we will expect some jazzy console / dashboard arrangement.
We love the idea of this, but as always with battery teachnology, the problem is the car only has a range of 65 miles per charge… Wonder if we will see a version in the Aston Martin Cygnet? I doubt it but who knows…
