The Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic cars ever made. It’s silhouette has remained unchanged since 1963 but I bet you’ve never seen a 911 quite like this one?!
This is the Singer All-Terrain Competition Study (or ACS). It’s based on a real Porsche 911, specifically the 964 generation made from 1989 to 1994. Singer are a Californian company that takes old 911s and breathes new life into them through the most meticulous attention to detail and application of modern technology. They are the masters of the 911 restomod scene.
The ACS was created after one of their clients who wanted a ‘Safari-Style’ 911 but made by Singer. Off-road Porsches wasn’t something they knew a huge amount about so they partnered with British firm; Tuthill Porsche to create the ACS. Tuthill are world renowned as the go-to specialists for rally and off-road Porsches.
The All-Terrain Competition Study still has a real 911 at its core but the rest of the car is bespoke. The Body is carbon fibre, the engine is a turbo charged flat six from Singer, the interior is all-new and the car rides on beefy twin dampers all-round. It is designed to be punished and this is evident in the video above. It looks like so much fun.
Despite this being a custom build for a exclusive client, Singer and Tuthill will build you one but don’t expect much change from £2m! If that’s something you can afford then Tuthill will be able to offer competition support as the ACS has been designed to compete in a range of off-road events around the world.
