A New Boxpark Is Set to Open in Wembley
First there was Shoreditch in the East. Then there was Croydon in the South. Now there’s going to be Wembley in North. Since 2011, Boxpark has become synonymous in London with great pop-up street food and innovative shopping events, and it’s just been announced that there’s going to be a third Boxpark opening in Wembley Park next year.
If you’re not living in London or are just not familiar with the concept, since its opening Boxpark has revolutionised the pop-up social dining and shopping destination scene in the capital with their unique brand of shipping crate spaces.
Boxpark Shoreditch has been a staple of east London since 2011 and in October 2016, Boxpark took things south of the river and launched Boxpark Croydon, the first food and beverage only site, featuring over 30 independent and respected traders from across the city. Next in line is Wembley.
Boxpark’s signature black and white look will make its way to Wembley’s Olympic Park late 2018. Much like its predecessor in Croydon, Boxpark Wembley will feature 29 independent food and drinks traders from across London, and around the world,
Not only will it be about the street food, but the new space will also include a major 2000 capacity arena space for an impressive events calendar, featuring over 200 varied and original events each year. There’ll also be a resident BoxBar, stocked with a top selection of craft beers, fine wines and spirits, for the more intimate events.
Boxpark Wembley will open in on Olympic Way in the Wembley Park in late 2018. Head over to the Boxpark Website to keep up to date when vendors get announced.
