ABQ London Gets a New Permanent Home in Hackney
If you ever had the pleasure of heading to ABQ London in the last 3 years, you’ll know that despite the success of the Breaking Bad-themed immersive cocktail experience, the RV’s surroundings near Cambridge Heath always left a little to be desired. Which is why the ABQ crew have just parked their RV into a new two-storey, permanent accommodation in Hackney!
Yes, ABQ London has a new home. The flagship venue at Bohemia Place in Hackney has 4 different immersive spaces customers can enjoy, with the RV still very much part of the cocktail ‘cooking’ experience. It has a brand new bar inside it and can host 30 people at a time where they can use molecular mixology to ‘cook’ their own drinks.
Creators Lollipop have been busy in the last few years – as well as recently opening an scientific, multi-room alcoholic escape experience called ‘The Grid’, they also hosted a pop-up dedicated to Alan Turing and the Enigma Code, called ‘The Bletchley’. But ABQ has always been their bread and butter.
And as well as the RV, the new venue in North London comes with a main molecular bar which can house over 50 people and there’s also some outdoor space titled ‘Saint’. This unique pizza garden has its own resident pizzeria serving fully vegan sourdough pizzas – the first of its kind in London.
But if you’re looking to unleash your inner Heisenberg, the ‘Sinner’ area is situated on the first floor/mezzanine of the venue and features arcade games and resident DJs playing hip hop tunes Thu-Sat. After 8pm, with its laser lights, this place becomes a dance floor for people to move a bit after their drinks.
The new ABQ London venue has a capacity of 200 and is open now. Located at 18 Bohemia Place, E81DU, you book an RV experience now over at the ABQ London Website where prices start at £32.50 for 2 hours (including 3 drinks).
