The beginning of July marks the opening of the newest restaurant from the Aqua Restaurant Group. Aqua Shard sees the latest dining experience being unveiled on the 31st floor of Britain’s tallest building promising to offer prospective diners a phenomenal view to go with their fine food.
The interior features simple contemporary design with a muted taupe and brown colour-scheme in one area, and area having oval dining booths with peacock feather fabric accented with dark woods, and plum upholstery, with flashes of bolder reds at the bar.
The menu is inspired by traditional British cuisine, and the restaurant will initially be open for breakfast and dinner with plans for a quintessentially British afternoon tea option in due course too.
There is also an Aqua Shard bar, where patrons can have a cocktail enjoying panoramic views of the metropolis stretching as far as the eye can see, through the 3 storey high windows. With this in mind the bar would make the perfect ice breaker on a first date, or somewhere impressive to take your mum for cream tea.
