The Halloween Project

The Halloween Project combines music, theatre and immersive art in a spooked-up warehouse in Bermondsey. Joes are free to roam the space and see what they come across, which could be anything from a Shakespearean scene to a dancefloor filled by some pumping tunes. Whatever happens, you won’t be bored!

Gus Fring Funeral
Friday 30th October, £22.
Celebrate the life and times of Gus Fring in the Breaking Bad-themed pop-up bar, ABQ. Experience a lab set-up in a recreational vehicle (RV), where you can ‘cook’ your cocktails and give the soul of Los Pollos Hermanos the send-off he deserves… Bitch.

Perfect Havoc Disco Halloween Party

If you’re looking for something a little more hedonistic for Halloween where fancy dress might well be frowned upon, check out the Perfect Havoc Disco – a weekend long Halloween party in Hoxton and Farringdon which will showcase the best breakthrough names in electronic music. The event will feature the likes of Oliver Nelson, Tobtok, Kitsuné signing Cesare, Perfect Havoc Disco boss Adam Griffin, and newcomer Ghassemi.

Vevo Halloween Party

Welcoming 5000 guests, Vevo are back at the Victoria Warehouse this Halloween. The theme this year is ‘Circus of the Damned’ and will feature a Scare Maze, clowns and full prosthetic get-up. There’s tons of live performances from the like of James Bay, Wolf Alice and Years & Years too.

Birmingham Halloween Parties
Zombie Earth: Containment
Saturday 31st October, £5.
Requiem: Live are back in Birmingham for the third time with Zombie Earth: Containment. Taking place across the most historic areas of Digbeth, Joes will spend 60-90 minutes escaping a fictional infection that have turned some of the human population into zombies. At the finish, if you survive, there’ll be a party to celebrate the survivors. Perfect for Halloween!

Liverpool Halloween Parties
Circus Halloween Party

If you don’t fancy a quiet one and you’re into your house/techno, the annual Circus event at Liverpool’s iconic Arts Club will be right up your street. This year the Ellum label showcase includes Maceo Plex, Danny Daze, Shall Ocin, and Krankbrother. Needless to say, this is for strictly over 18s!

Copperdollar’s ‘The Back of Beyond’

If you’ve already got plans for Halloween weekend but want to prolong the gruesome festivities, check out Copperdollar’s ‘The Back of Beyond’ in Brighton! The huge celebration for Halloween and Mexican Day of the Dead involves Joes entering the bizarre bonanza of dead Carny folk. Copperdollar’s parties are a visual feast of art, performance and music!

Bristol Halloween Parties
Fearfest Halloween Party
Friday 16th-Friday 30th October, £24.99.
Fearfest is another fully interactive and immersive scare experience on our list. Featuring live actors and plenty special effects, Joes will traverse the Track of Terror, a 60 minute walk along the 500m disused railway line in Tidenham. Here they will enter a horror set that features graveyards, a haunted house and dungeons before being led into The Scream Sewer, a 60m long purpose built sewage system. This isn’t for the faint hearted so is only for those over 16 years old.
