Everything You Need to Know about Season 5 of Black Mirror
Having shared the official trailer for Black Mirror Season 5 last week, Netflix has released some more details on the upcoming series. Alongside episode names and plotlines, they’ve also just dropped new trailers for each of the three upcoming episodes. With that in mind, here’s everything we know so far about Season 5 of Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror.
Unlike the previous two seasons (which followed the move from Channel 4 over to Netflix), Season 5 of Black Mirror will only contain three episodes instead of the usual six. The latest season was rumoured to drop in 2018, however instead we got the series’ standalone film Bandersnatch which gave viewers options on decision characters would make.
But Season 5 isn’t far away and will land on Netflix on Wednesday 5th June 2019. Along with the mini trailers, we also have a synopsis of each episode, which include Anthony Mackie and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s starring in an episode titled, “Striking Vipers”, Andrew Scott starring in “Smithereens”, and Miley Cyrus in “Rachel, Jack and Ashley, Too.”
Official Synopsis: “A cab driver with an agenda becomes the center of attention on a day that rapidly spirals out of control.”
Cast: Andrew Scott (Fleabag), Damson Idris (Snowfall), Topher Grace (That ’70s Show)
“Rachel, Jack and Ashley, Too”
