Brooklyn Brewery’s Beer Mansion Hits London

Brooklyn Brewery and their famed Mash Tour is returning to London this May for two days of floor-rattling beats, food, tech, art, games, a pinch of astonishment and of course, beer. The Tour has taken on many guises over the years but for 2017, Brooklyn Brewery are coming to the capital with one grand undertaking: a Beer Mansion.
The Brooklyn Brewery Beer Mansion is set to be the hottest ticket in town for lovers of the hop. The interactive, multi–room experience is a celebration of all things beer and will take place at MC Motors in Dalston.
The Mash Tour takes a new and delicious form every year – from concerts and dinners to comedy nights. The Beer Mansion, however, will offer a fully immersive beer festival like no other. The usual tropes are here – a ticket to gain entrance, a glass for one’s refreshments and many tasty hand-crafted beers; but there’ll be no massive white tent, no fluorescent lighting and no vacuous convention centre.
Instead there’ll be five rooms at the Beer Mansion, and each will fit within a unique flavour profile relating to the beer that they’ll be pouring, getting Joes and Janes to think deeper about what they’ll be drinking and why it tastes like it does.
There’ll be no maps to the Beer Mansion with guests choosing their own journey through the five rooms, so whether you end up basking in the tropical haven of the Tart of the Tropics room or plunging yourself into the gothic, roasty, and toasty Dark Room, it’s down to you!
Brooklyn Brew Master Garrett Oliver will be on duty for the evening and Brooklyn Brewery have also enlisted the help of local brewers, including the likes of 40 ft Brewery and Redchurch Brewery to make the night extra special. Voodoo Ray’s will be serving up slices and quesadilla connoisseurs Killa Dilla will also be adding some Mexican heat too.
Tickets for Brooklyn Brewery’s Beer Mansion will go sale this Saturday (8th April) over at the Eventbrite Website, where entry will set you back £30. There’ll be a final ticket release on 1st May for £35, and they’ll also be a limited number of tickets on the door for the same price.
