Christmas Cocktails

It’s December and the Christmas season is very much upon us. Decorations and lights are springing up everywhere, and we have a Christmas party to attend tonight!

So, we are going to use it as an excuse for the reason to be Jolly! We have teamed up with the famous Captain Morgan’s Spiced rum, to show you how to mix three great cocktails this Christmas!!

Hot Spiced Punch

“Have yourself a Caribbean Christmas”
Captain Morgan’s Spiced is the perfect way to add a Caribbean twist to a classic winter warmer. This aromatic blend will help get you and your party guests in the festive party spirit and keep you warm on those cold winter nights!

Ingredients (Serves 12):

  • 3 small oranges, well washed and dried
  • 3 tbsp whole cloves
  • 2 ¼ litres apple juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 ½ cups of Captain Morgan’s Spiced®


  1. Stud the oranges with the cloves and place in a punch bowl.
  2. Heat the apple juice with the cinnamon sticks in a large saucepan.
  3. Pour over the oranges and add the Captain Morgan’s Spiced®


Captain Morgan’s Spiced Mojito

“Transport yourself to the Caribbean – without the extortionate air fare”

Captain Morgan’s Spiced adds a kick to this already classic cocktail. This one is simple to make and won’t fail to impress your guests!


  • 50ml Captain Morgan’s Spiced®
  • 25ml sugar syrup
  • 4-5 mint leaves
  • Crushed ice
  • Soda water


  1. Fill a highball glass with crushed ice
  2. Add 25ml sugar syrup and muddle in 4-5 mint leaves
  3. Pour over 50ml of Captain Morgan’s Spiced® and top up with sparkling soda water and stir
  4. Finish with a sprig of mint



Spiced Voyager

“You could say it’s like Captain Morgan and Ginger Beer having a kiss under the mistletoe”
Feeling a bit adventurous? Try the Spiced Voyager – Captain Morgan’s Spiced infused with basil and spicy ginger beer – it’s the ultimate winning combination.


  • 2 bar spoons of white sugar
  • 50ml Captain Morgan’s Spiced®
  • 12.5ml Lime juice
  • 6-8 Basil leaves
  • Crushed ice
  • Ginger Beer


  1. Muddle the basil, sugar and lime in your finest highball glass and fill with crushed ice
  2. Pour the Captain Morgan’s Spiced®, top up with Ginger Beer and stir
  3. Garnish with a basil leaf

There we have it! Three easy to make Christmas Cocktails from the man himself (no, not santa)!!
