Coolest ‘Game of Thrones’ Merchandise Money Can Buy

With the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones set to be hit our screens in April, the HBO marketing team has seemingly gone into overdrive. GoT collections and collaborations have been dropping quicker than you can say “Winter is coming”, with everything from trainers to whiskey catered for. Here’s the coolest Game of Thrones merchandise around…

Game of Thrones x adidas UltraBOOST Collection

Set for release on 22nd March, the Game of Thrones x adidas UltraBOOST capsule collection is most definitely the biggest drop this season, featuring six unique takes on the UltraBOOST silhouette – each one inspired by either House Stark, House Lannister, House Targaryen, the Targaryen Dragons, the White Walkers or the Night’s Watch. The influence of each faction is referenced not only in the PrimeKnit upper’s colourway but also on the heel tabs which features House monikers and the tongues which bear House logos. There’s also GoT-printed insoles.

Game of Thrones Scotch Whiskies Set

If it’s booze you’re after, then this collection of eight Scotch whiskies is a thing of beauty. Each bottle in the set is distilled by a different Scottish distillery and represents one of the great houses of Westeros, as well as the noble and courageous Night’s Watch. House Lannister is represented by Lagavulin, House Stark by Dalwhinnie, House Targaryen by Cardhu, House Tully by Glendullan, House Tyrell by Clynelish, House Baratheon Royal Lochnagar and House Greyjoy by Talisker. There’s also a special Night’s Watch bottle represented by Oban, who face the barren seas between the West Highlands and the Islands of Scotland.

Game of Thrones Oreos

With each episode of Season 8 ‘feature-length’, you’re going to need some premium snacks to keep you going. And what could possibly be better than an Oreo? A special ‘Game of Thrones’ Oreo, that’s what! Yes, Oreo have confirmed the TV-themed cookie is coming. There’s still as much mystery swirling about the cookie as there is about who’ll end up on the Iron Throne. But we do know it is coming. And soon…

Deliveroo Dragon Easter Egg

Deliveroo is planning to celebrate both Easter and the final season of Game of Thrones with 1kg chocolate eggs that resemble dragon eggs from the epic Khal Droggo pyre scene from the Season 1. The scaly eggs stand 20cm tall and are made from Fairtrade white chocolate. They’re set to go on sale from between 14th – 21th April and can ordered via the Deliveroo app in the London, Manchester and Leeds for 80p per egg.

Game of Thrones Hodor Door Stop

While fan merchandise is rarely, if ever, useful, this Game of Thrones Hodor door stop is not only practical, it’s down-right genius. Only a true GoT diehard fan could cook up a piece of merch that takes one of the series’ most heart-breaking moments and transforms it into a handy item. Hodor’s tragic ending revealed that his name was actually an amalgam of “Hold the door”. And this door stop HOLDS THE DOOR. Get it?!

Game of Thrones Havaianas Flip Flops

If you’re heading to golden sands this summer, then these new Havaianas flip flops will do just the trick. Three exclusive pairs will go on sale at the end of March; one pair featuring the Stark and Targaryen sigils; one pair donning the maps of Westeros and Essos; and one bearing the coveted Iron Throne.

Game of Thrones Premium Pinball Machine

But if you’ve got the cash and the space, then this Stern pinball machine will fit nicely in your games room. Based on the books by George R.R. Martin, the machine features everything fans would want in a pinball version of Westeros, chronicling the power struggles among noble families fighting for control of the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms. It may cost £9,000 but nobody ever said cool was cheap!
