Game of Thrones Art Gallery London
If you love Game of Thrones as much as we do – and chances are you do – Joes this weekend need to be heading East for The Game of Thrones Art Gallery where a huge range of artworks inspired by the world’s biggest TV will be on exhibition for your viewing pleasure.
The Game of Thrones Art Gallery is a four day pop-up which has been set up to celebrate the release of Season 6 on Blu-ray and DVD this Monday. The exhibition will be showcasing an incredible array of art from UK artists and competition winners, as well as never-before-seen sketches from the show’s creators.
Highlights at the gallery include original storyboards from the series storyboarder William Simpson, and costume sketches and jewellery by Michelle Clapton in conjunction with renowned UK jewellery brand Yunus & Eliza, whose works can be seen on the likes of Daenerys Targaryen.
Fans of the show were also asked to submit their works to a Fan Art competition that ran on the HBO UK website and the ten selected winners (chosen by Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark)) will also be displayed alongside the working artists’ creations.
The Game of Thrones Art Gallery is free to enter and will run Thursday 10th/Friday 11th November from Midday – 9pm, and Saturday 12th/Sunday 13th November from 10am – 6pm. The gallery is located at 135 Bethnal Green Road, E2 7DG, a couple of minutes’ walk from Shoreditch High Street Station.
