With Valentine’s Day coming up, many of are starting to sweat over what to do for the most pressurised day of the year. Well, the always bonkers Bompas & Parr design house have got you covered with their latest project, Grope Mountain – a bespoke climbing wall made from… well… things to grope.

Grope Mountain: The World's Most Obscene Climbing Wall?

Grope Mountain will be arriving in London and Liverpool just in time for V Day, with the makers saying the wall will ‘eroticises the physicality of climbing for lovers.’ The Mountain originally launched in 2015 at the Museum of Sex in New York, with the installation featuring custom holds, orifices and appendages – many cast from volunteers’ anatomies from the original show.

Grope Mountain returns to the UK this year with a higher course and more routes to ascend. You can naturally go with your partner, but it’s also open to groups with Bompas & Parr saying the ascension up the wall ‘encourages a rethink of the participants’ own body.’
