Heinz Are Releasing ‘Ketchup Caviar’ for Valentine’s Day
The lead up to Valentine’s Day can be stressful. What do you buy your partner? Should you make plans? Is it altogether one massive con? Well, thankfully Heinz have got your back. The Ketchup Kings are releasing an extremely limited edition, upmarket batch of something they’re called ‘Ketchup Caviar’.
Yes, Heinz is getting fancy for Valen-HEINZ Day by releasing Ketchup Caviar. But what is it? First off, it’s not actually caviar and no fish were harmed during the making process. Instead, Heinz have recreated caviar by taking tomato ketchup and using some molecular spherification, often found in high-end restaurants.
According to the brand, each jar of contains “exquisite, delicious tasting pearls of Heinz Tomato Ketchup that are sure to elevate your Valentine’s Day meal into a fine dining experience”. The brand even teamed up with caviar specialists Jens Møller Products ApS to ensure they got the whole concept on point.
Unfortunately only 150 jars of Heinz Ketchup Caviar are available and you can’t even buy them. Instead, Heinz are asking followers over on Twitter to tweet their US account with the hashtags #HeinzKetchupCaviar and #sweeps.
