A new red-band trailer for black comedy thriller Kill Me Three Times has appeared online which Simon Pegg stars as a hitman whose latest job leads him to a remote Australian surf town.
He’s tasked with offing a cheating wife (played by Alice Braga), but he’s not the only one looking to take her out with half of the local population proving to be gun-wielding madmen.
This first red-band trailer gives a pretty good sense of the film’s tone. It’s fun and sweary with Pegg appearing to be in excellent form, but it also doesn’t seem to neglect the violence which is very bloody.
There seems to be some legitimate peril on show, which is rare for a dark comedy, and reviews have already been favourable on it’s release at the Toronto Film Festival. We’ve got some rather high hopes Kill Me Three Times.
Directed by Kriv Stenders and co-starring Sullivan Stapleton, Teresa Palmer and Luke Hemsworth, Kill Me Three Times doesn’t have an official UK release date yet, but it’s already out in Australia and is confirmed for the US on the 10th April this year, so we’re pretty sure we won’t be waiting too long!
Check out the trailer. Be warned – there are swears aplenty!
