Meantime Have Set Up a ‘Hopline’ to Save You from Secret Santa Woe

Not for the first time this year, Meantime are giving away some free beer! Following their Proper Beer Day in the summer, the London brewers are setting up a ‘Secret Santa Hopline’ for stumped gifters who have no idea what to get their work colleague for Christmas.

The Hopline is being set up following research that revealed a whopping £94 million will be wasted on unwanted presents in the UK this Christmas. According to the research, the average Brit spends £7.97 on Secret Santa with the most popular gifts being toiletry gift sets (37%), novelty mugs (32%) or something useless (19%).

Meantime say “give the people what they want!” and that’s beer. So to make things easier, Meantime have set up a Secret Santa Hopline service designed to help out those who have no idea what to get Bob from Finance for Christmas. To save you trouble, Meantime will deliver beer straight to people at work in Central London.

The delivery service will be available to Londoners who sign up via the website with lucky recipients from central London chosen at random. Those who have been successful will be notified and their delivery dropped off within 24 hours. Ultimately, it’s Christmas sorted.

For more details on the Meantime Secret Santa Hopline, head over to the Meantime website. To be in with a chance of receiving a present, entrants must sign up between 8am – 10am on Wednesday 12th or Thursday 13th December. All research commissioned and owned by Meantime Brewing Company.
