The Formula 1® season is fully under way, and while we have been loving every minute, really we had all been waiting for that one race – the Monaco Grand Prix – one of the most glamorous sporting events of the year.

Mumm partner with globally acclaimed musician, Mark Ronson, to bring another world first to life

The exclusive event took place on-board Mumm’s private yacht in Monte Carlo with the likes of Ronson, Eddie Jordan and the always awesome Cara Delevingne in attendance. As well as a special performance by SingTank, a duo consisting of Mark’s wife and her brother. Cosy. They were all there to celebrate Mumm’s launch of the world’s first connected champagne bottle. Mumm’s connected Magnum offers an enhanced moment of celebration. The Magnum is inspired by the thrill and emotion of the ultimate moment of victory, such as Formula 1® which Mumm has been at the heart since the beginning of its partnership in 2000. To get as glitz and glam as possible, on the eve of the 2015 race, renowned champagne house Mumm, hosted a private event with one of the hottest men in music right now, Mark Ronson. The reason, to launch the world’s first digitally connected champagne bottle.

The moment the cork is popped from any bottle is a moment of excitement and ecstasy. Especially when that bottle is a Magnum of Mumm. When the cork is popped on the connected Magnum, a sensor links to a receiver in the venues’ audio and visual system triggering an interactive sound and visual experience to turn that moment up tenfold. Each ‘celebration’ can be personalised by the venue in which you are celebrating. Rather coolly, the technology can also be localised so that the celebratory light show is directed to the specific area where the very happy people have popped the specific bottle.
