If you love a good single malt this might be right up your street..
To mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s coronation, The Macallan has released a limited run of commemorative boxed single malts. The set comprises two 350ml bottles, the first of which is aged in American sherry soaked oak casks and drinks with hints of summer including lemon, orange and berries. The second, aged in sherry casks from Spain is a richer and more mature tipple with notes of nutmeg and ginger.
The two bottles feature and are named after two of the Queens photographers; Cecil Beaton and his photograph from 1953 & Julian Calder and his shot from 2004 respectively.
Aptly only 1953 sets will be produced, and retail at £350 for the set. Shop now at themacallan.com
