Things to Do This Weekend in London
The InKerbator Easter Weekender
Thursday 18th – Monday 22nd April 2019. Free.
London street food kings, Kerb are heading back to the Southbank Centre this Easter for the InKerbator Easter Weekender. It’s all about the future of food at this food fest with twenty-five traders battling it out in front of a daily panel of industry judges. There’ll also be free workshops and panel talks for London’s budding food entrepreneurs.
The line-up this weekend will feature some of London newest stellar traders, with the likes of Greedy Khao serving their take of vegan Thai food and Mexikings offering adventurous Aztec cuisine. Each vendor will have a special £5 signature dish and there’ll also be two KERB bars and live music to keep you occupied.

Alexandra Palace Springfest German Bier Festival

Back for the 10th year in a row, we’re kicking off our Bank Holiday ‘Things To Do’ special with Ally Pally’s German Bier Festival, Springfest! Taking place this Friday, the Palace will turned into a giant German beer hall complete with Bavarian brews, waitresses, Oompah bands and all the sausages you can eat.
Alongside traditional German fare, there’ll also be delicious slow-smoked BBQ from Bodean’s, Backstreet Diner Burgers, Flaming Cactus authentic Mexican food and Wood Fired Pizza. As well as the traditional German band, Club De Fromage will also be spinning tunes at the festival. Table service is a given and lederhosen is encouraged!

Things to Do This Weekend in Leeds
Hop City 2019
Thursday 18th – Saturday 20th April 2019. £52.
The UK’s first ever hop-led beer festival, Hop City is back in Leeds for its third year this Thursday. Hosted by Northern Monk, some of the finest breweries from across the UK and beyond will head to the brewery for a celebration of the humble hop, so expect “juice bombs, DIPAs, sours and murk”!
UK favourites like Cloudwater, Burnt Mill and Magic Rock will be on duty alongside international brews, including an exclusive first appearance on these shores from New Yorkers, Hudson Valley. There’ll be DJ sets and live music throughout the weekend, as well as street food from the likes of High Roller Lobster Co., Dim Sum Su and Blue Caribou Canteen.

Things to Do This Weekend in Birmingham
Gin & Rum Festival
Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st April 2019. £12.
The UK’s largest Gin & Rum Festival tour heads to Birmingham this weekend. With over 60 different gins and 60 different rums available to sample, a knowledgeable team of staff will be there to educate and guide you through the many different blends, tastes and locations that the festival’s gins and rums come from.
On arrival, you’ll receive a branded Copa glass, satchel and guide, which gives you all the info you’ll need. As well as the booze line-up, there’ll also be a resident DJ keep keeping you entertained, as well as live entertainment. The festival works on a token system with all samples costing £5.

Things to Do This Weekend in Cardiff
By Order Of – Chapter Two
Saturday 20th April 2019. £25.
DEPOT Cardiff is under new management again this Saturday. The ‘By Order Of’ gang are in town and that means the venue will be turning back time to the 1920’s, where underground bootleg bars are filled with clean-shaven men and flapper girls. Actors and guests will blur into one with secret corners, gambling dens, moonshine, fortune tellers and live music all adding to the immersive evening.
Throughout the night you can feast on a range of traditional newspaper-wrapped fish and chips to hog roasts, and slow braised beef, while bootleg cocktails, whisky on the rocks and bathtub gin will also be served to those in the know. All guests must dress for the occasion, so dig out your tweed jackets, pocket watch and flat cap – just maybe leave the razor blade at home, yeah?
