Things to Do This Weekend in London
London Holi Colour Dance Party
Sunday 24th March 2019. £16.
Also known as the ‘festival of colours’, Holi Festival has been celebrated all over the world this week, and on Sunday it’s coming to London. If you’ve never seen the Indian festival, you’ve probably seen the aftermath with people and street covered in multi-coloured powdered paint. This weekend, the Holi Party heads to Swiss Cottage Park!
Alongside a whole load of paint, there’ll also be live drummer bands and traditional bangra and Bollywood dancers setting the tone. After all the dancing, there’ll also be some amazing street food from North and South India being served, as well as DJs spinning tunes. Just maybe don’t wear your Sunday best…

Game Over: Retro Games Night
Friday 22nd March 2019. £6.
If you’re into your gaming, Camden Events Service are bringing a brand new late night event to Holborn Library called Game Over this Friday. A whole host of retro consoles will be scattered across the venue for guests to play, including Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo Mini, Nintendo Wii, Artari Flashback Gold 8 HD and Nintendo 64.
That means you can play everything from Mario Kart, Sonic and Donkey Kong, to Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Tony Hawk Skateboarding. All the games will be played on large screens and projectors, and there’ll also be some retro board games to play, as well as some snacks to purchase too.

Things to Do This Weekend in Bristol
CAMRA Bristol Beer Festival 2019
Thursday 21st – Saturday 23rd March. £11.50.
The 22nd annual CAMRA Bristol Beer Festival returns to Brunel’s Old Station this Thursday! There’ll be a carefully chosen selection of around 140 different real ales on sale over the course of the festival, as well as a good range of cider and perry.
Tickets for all sessions cost £11.50, but that does include £5 worth of beer festival tokens. Also included are a festival programme and commemorative glass, and there’ll also be a whole load of street food to purchase on the day to ensure you don’t get famished.

Things to Do This Weekend in Cardiff
By Order Of – Chapter Two
Saturday 23rd March 2019. £25.
DEPOT Cardiff is under new management this Saturday. The ‘By Order Of’ gang are in town and that means the venue will be turning back time to the 1920’s, where underground bootleg bars are filled with clean-shaven men and flapper girls. Actors and guests will blur into one with secret corners, gambling dens, moonshine, fortune tellers and live music all adding to the immersive evening.
Throughout the night you can feast on a range of traditional newspaper-wrapped fish and chips to hog roasts, and slow braised beef, while bootleg cocktails, whisky on the rocks and bathtub gin will also be served to those in the know. All guests must dress for the occasion, so dig out your tweed jackets, pocket watch and flat cap – just maybe leave the razor blade at home, yeah?

Things to Do This Weekend in Manchester
The Car Lot: Pop Up Cinema
Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd March 2019. £12.
A new cinema experience is heading to Stretford this Friday as The Spirit of the Essoldo take over the Mall’s multi-storey car park with a pop-up cinema. With great views over Manchester, The Car Lot pop-up will feature DJ sets and a light show before two unique cinema experiences take place.
Friday will see a screening of Baz Luhrmann’s modern adaption of Romeo+Juliet, while Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 classic Drive is on the bill for Saturday – both of which are said to have “added immersive twists”. Guests can also look forward to a full bar and street food stalls, including Ginger’s Comfort ice cream, Get Chucked, and Vaso Kitchen Indian.
