Things to Do This Weekend in London
The Aperol Big Spritz Social

In the summertime, when the weather is fine, we’ve got giant Aperol Spritz goblets on our minds. And this week, the Italian orange aperitif specialists are opening up a pop-up called The Aperol Big Spritz Social, set to filled with the likes of a pergola and even an orange canal!
Yes, row on the ‘Aperol orange’ canal in the sunshine, relax under the pergola before riding down the slide, or take a turn on the carousel, all whilst raising a refreshing glass of Aperol Spritz. The perfect way to start a night, there’ll also be DJ sets throughout the event. Tickets include two Aperol Spritz and some traditional Italian aperitivo from food partners Arancina.

London Dragon Boat Festival 2018
Sunday 3rd June. Free.
The London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival will be celebrating its 23rd edition at London’s Regatta Centre this weekend. 40 teams will take to the water to battle it out throughout the day for 6 cups. The competition sees teams of 16-20 people, ranging from beginners to seasoned paddlers, take part in 3 race heats, with dragon boats and drums provided.
On land, the event’s accompanying food festival will be offering the authentic tastes of South East Asia. There’ll also be entertainment provided on the East West Festival stage too, showcasing new artists from the East and West, martial arts displays, and traditional Chinese lion dancing.

Fabric of Football
From Saturday 2nd June – Friday 15th July. Free.
Fresh from their pop-up in London last month, the guys at Classic Football Shirts are putting on an exhibition rather aptly at the National Football Museum in Manchester. Classic Football Shirts have been collecting thousands of examples of the world’s most iconic kits for over a decade and the exhibition will showcase them across the summer.
Fabric of Football will showcase a themed selection of match-worn shirts, which will rotate on a regularly meaning you can keep heading back. Each display will chart a journey through the evolution of football shirt design and the development of new technologies, recalling some of football’s most significant moments.

Things to Do This Weekend in Leeds
The Gin and Rum Festival Leeds 2018

The UK’s first Gin and Rum Festival is heading to Leeds this Friday for a two day pop-up event dedicated to summer’s two favourite spirits! Yes, you’ll be spoilt for choice with over 60 different gins and 60 different rums all easily found in one of the seven themed bars on display.
Tickets are just £5 and that’ll get you a free satchel bag including a Gin and Rum Festival Copa glass and Gin and Rum Bible. Throughout the day there’ll be talks and master classes from producers, as well as live entertainment and succulent street food. Get your tickets here.

Things to Do This Weekend in Bristol
Gloucester Road Summer Street Party
Saturday 2nd June. Free.
The yearly Gloucester Road Summer Street Party in Bristol is back this Saturday. Hosted by Nailsea Electrical, this family friendly event is always one to watch on the Bristolian calendar with a real British street party feel to it.
Expect live music all day, food and drink stalls, free Gin and Wine tasting sessions, a fully licensed bar all day and Mr Whompy – the UK’s only ice cream van/DJ booth – with their very own Disco Stu & DJ Ted.
