Things to Do This Weekend in London

Londoners who love a pair of trainers as much as we do, listen up. Now in its sixth year, Europe’s biggest trainer festival, Crepe City, returns to the Old Truman Brewery this Saturday, bringing with it the world’s largest pop-up market of exclusive and hard to find sneakers.
Thousands of pairs will be on sale with hundreds of kicks sellers travelling near and wide to host at Crepe City, so expect everything from cheap basics to limited edition rarities. Not only that, there’ll be installations and offers from cult brands, as well as DJ sets, panel discussions and street food stalls. Find out more here.

This weekend the world’s premier rum festival, RumFest, will open its doors in West London, with over 400 rums on show. Alongside the comprehensive line-up of rum, there’ll also be cocktail masterclasses, seminars, exclusive launches, live music and even dancing during Carnival Hour.
Some of the world’s most famed rum producers will be hand to discuss their creations, while some of the planet’s rarest rums will also be up for grabs at Ian Burrell’s annual rum auction. All samples, masterclasses and tasting are included in the price of your ticket price with the exception of ‘Golden Tot’ rums and exclusive masterclasses which can be purchased separately. Things to Do This Weekend in Glasgow

Another October weekend, another beer festival. This time it’s the turn of Glasgow and Queen’s Park’s giant 2,500 capacity Oktoberfest tent. Arriving with all the bells and whistles, you know the score by now; bier steins, authentic German food stalls and live entertainment from traditional Oompa music to great German Schlager.
The Glasgow edition of Oktoberfest is also asking guests to get into the spirit of things and choose their weapon: drindl or lederhosen! Prices completely vary depending on when you go and what you want, so head over to the Glasgow Oktoberfest Website for more details.

Things to Do This Weekend in Norwich
Great British Gin Festival
Saturday 20th October. From £13.50.
Joes and Janes in the East of England, prepare to have your taste buds tantalised by over 100 different gins from around the world at the touring Great British Gin Festival. Taking place at OPEN Norwich, expect trade stands, talks, demos and even a virtual tour in their VR Gin Distillery.
Entry tickets include a Gin Bible and the Great British Gin Festival glass with bars operating on a token system. Tokens are £5 each with one token equating to a single measure of the juniper, garnish and a mixer. There’ll also be live entertainment throughout the day and even a photo booth. Things to Do This Weekend in Cardiff
Sunday 21st October. £6.
Another country, another sneaker celebration. Wales’ No.1 trainer and lifestyle event, LACED, is back for its fourth event at DEPOT in Cardiff this Sunday, bringing together trainerheads from across the UK to celebrate trainer culture in all its glory with thousands of rare trainers on sale across the day.
There’ll also be plenty of streetwear and clothing stalls to be perused, as well as classic cars, big screen FIFA competitions, and entertainment from hip-hop DJs, MCs and dancers. Being DEPOT, naturally there’ll also be some top-notch local street food on sale too. Find out more here.
