Things to Do This Weekend in London
Friday 17th – Sunday 19th February. £15.
If you love your gin as much as we do at Average Joes HQ, folks in the capital this weekend are in for a treat as the 3rd annual Gin Festival rolls into town! Held at the Tabacco Dock, this is the UK’s largest gin celebration with over 100 gins to taste, as well as a load of fun interactive stuff going on for lovers of the juniper.
On arrival you and your fellow gin connoisseurs will be handed a Gin Festival glass (to take home) and a brochure, full of information on all the gins you can try, a little bit about each distiller and also a suggested garnish. Of course, being a festival, you can also expect live music, talks and plenty food stalls to keep you (relatively) sober!

Liverpool Beer Festival 2017
Until Saturday 18th February. From £7.
The Liverpool Beer Festival is back this weekend and it’s one of the best events of its kind probably anywhere in the UK. To make it extra special, it’s almost certainly held the best venue too with the crypt of the Metropolitan Cathedral on hosting duty.
The Liverpool Beer Festival is a CAMRA ran event, so the quality won’t be compromised on either. This year, there’ll ‘only’ be 50 beers available, but we’re told they’ll be some of the ‘most popular beers’ so we’re sure you’ll survive!
Location: Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt, Brownlow Hill, L3 5RF.
