Things to Do This Weekend
Every week we’ll be giving Joes the best things to do this weekend no matter where you are in the country. Whether it’s the best new bars, clubs, restaurants, films or events, we’ve got you covered!
Things to Do This Weekend in London
Hackney Brewery Open Day
Saturday 14th July. Free.
A brewery is always a great place to start your weekend, and this Saturday Hackney Brewery is opening its doors to the public for their 7th birthday bash! Not only will the brewery be giving free tours around the place, they’ll naturally be pouring their much-loved range of beers.
To make this extra special, Hackney Brewery will also be celebrating their birthday by launching their new NE Table Beer, Pinball (3.5%). It’s exactly the kind of sessionable beer to enjoy while playing its namesake, so they’ll also have pinball machines set up in the brewery too!
Location: Hackney Brewery, 358 Railway Arches, Laburnum Street, E2 8BB. Nearest Station: Hoxton.
World Cup Final
Sunday 15th July. 3pm KO.
The World Cup Final takes place this Sunday and though England won’t be there after going out to Croatia on Wednesday night, it’s always going to be an event you should watch. And while you could watch it at home, soaking up the atmosphere with some boozed up nutters always makes things more interesting – especially now England are out.
So come 3pm on Sunday, we suggest you head down to one of the many places in London showing the game on the big screen. Sure, you could stay at home and have a beer at arm’s length, but the euphoria/misery will be so much better watching it with others. So here’s the best outdoor big screens in the capital to watch the World Cup Final!
