Things to Do This Weekend in London
Jimmy’s Winter Lodge
Opens Friday 9th November.
Fresh from his BBQ Club in the summer, London pop-up king, Jimmy Garcia is back this Friday with his Winter Lodge. As always, there’s various parts to the pop-up with the set-menu Refuge Restaurant overlooking the Thames on the Southbank, as well as The Hot Cocktail Bar and Street Food for passers-by.
This year there’s also the option of an evening of private dining with Private Igloos. Available for the evening for groups of up to 10 people, these heated domes will offer a unique way to experience dining on the Southbank with stunning views of the river, and an equally stunning menu. Jimmy’s is always a must-visit when winter comes around – find out more here.
Location: Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London, SE1 8XX.. Nearest Tube: Waterloo.
Open Thursday 8th November.
Fulham’s first ever Thameside beach will be transformed into Fulham’s first ever ski resort this winter. Taking inspiration from the Alpine slopes of the 80s and 90s, Winterland opens this Thursday and will transport guests back in time to a festive winter playground.
We’re talking the likes of a karaoke booth, curling lanes, beer/prosecco pong and table tennis. Ironically enough, Jimmy’s Lodge also will be on hand in Fulham serving fondues and schnitzels, whilst mulled wine and winter warmer cocktails are served from the Moose bar. Find out more here and check out our 2018 list of Winter Pop-Ups in London.
Location: Fulham Beach Club, 364 Wandsworth Bridge Road, SW6 2TY. Nearest Station: Wandsworth.
