London Craft Beer Festival

If there’s a beer festival going on in the capital, chances are we’re going to be all over it. Well, one of the biggest of them all is back this weekend with the 6th annual London Craft Beer Festival. This carnival of beer is all about celebrating the very best of the modern craft culture and it’s bigger than ever this year, with over 65 of the world’s finest breweries involved for 2018’s edition.

Tickets aren’t cheap, but they are ‘all in’, which means you get total freedom to try whatever you want, as much of it as you like. On top of the beer, there’ll also be DJ sets from Two Door Cinema Club, Huey Morgan, Everything Everything and many more, as well as a whole load of food vendors to soak up some of that booze. Wing Fest

Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th August. From £20.

Londoners love their wings. And to prove it they’ve only gone and got themselves their very own chicken wing festival! Rolling into the Olympic Park in Stratford this weekend, the fourth annual London Wing Fest will feature the very best fryers in the country with 35 of them doing their chicken thing.

All wings will be served for £1 and all visitors will also get a Wing Fest signature trucker hat, a bottle of Frank’s RedHot sauce and access to the Wing Fest app. But if you’re really serious about your poultry, you can also sign up to one of the many wing eating competitions going on through the weekend. Things to Do This Weekend in Manchester

Gin and Rum Festival Manchester 2018

Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th August. £10.

The UK’s first Gin and Rum Festival is heading to Manchester this Friday for a two day pop-up event dedicated to summer’s two favourite spirits! Yes, you’ll be spoilt for choice with over 60 different gins and 60 different rums all easily found in one of the seven themed bars on display.

Tickets are just £10 and that’ll get you a free satchel bag including a Gin and Rum Festival Copa glass and Gin and Rum Bible. Throughout the day there’ll be talks and master classes from producers, as well as live entertainment and succulent street food. Get your tickets here.

Things to Do This Weekend in Glasgow

Glasgow Festival 2018

The inaugural European Championships gets underway in Glasgow this weekend as the continent’s leading sports men and women compete in various sports, including Athletics, Aquatics, Cycling and Gymnastics. And to coincide with the Championships, Glasgow’s iconic George Square will also be the beating heart of Festival 2018.

Featuring carnival events through the next 12 days, Festival 2018 will be showcasing a diverse line-up of music, dance, and theatre performances, as well as hosting installations and artworks from some of Scotland’s biggest artists. As part of the Festival, you can also enjoy a delicious selection of food and drink vendors and enjoy the Carnival Procession this Saturday at 1pm. Summer Spirits Festival

Summer is in full swing with the weather meant to get back on track following the recent storms. So what better way to celebrate than by heading to the touring Summer Spirits Festival which is set to hit Leeds this Saturday? Featuring over 100 worldwide brands, the festival offers spirit tasting experiences with graceful gins, tasty tequilas, refreshing rums to marvellous mezcals!
