Last updated on April 21st, 2016 at 11:16 am
Every week we’ll be giving Joes the best things to do this weekend no matter where you are in the country. Whether it’s the best new bars, clubs, restaurants, films or events, we’ve got you covered!
Things to Do This Weekend in London
UK Rock, Paper, Scissors Championships
Saturday 16th April. £16.
If you’ve already made plans around the capital this weekend, cancel them. Work colleague’s leaving party, brother’s birthday drinks, best mate’s wedding – forget it. Treat yourself to three hours of pure tension-filled adrenaline with the return of the UK Rock, Paper, Scissors Championships!
Yes, 250 brave competitors will lock eyes at the Green Man Pub in Central London and battle it out to wear the crown of the best Rock, Paper, Scissors competitor in the country. There’s seven rounds to get through with the winner taking home an eye-watering £100 CASH. Joes can participate or watch, just make sure you pre-book in advance. Naturally, it gets busy!
Location: Green Man Pub, London. EC2R 8EJ. Nearest Tube: Bank.
Model Market Street Feast
Friday 15th April – Saturday 3st October. Free before 7pm, £3 after.
We absolutely love our London street food haunts and this weekend marks the return of probably South London’s finest, Model Market. Run by the great Joes at Street Feast, booze and food will be as far as the eye can see at this abandoned 1950s covered market in Lewisham.
Street food will be provided by the likes of Rola Wala, Mother Flipper and Spit and Roast, while booze comes in various guises, including alcoholic slushies and shandies served from an old hair salon. There’ll be plenty of seating indoors but we recommend you head up to the rooftop to catch the sunset.
Location: Model Market, 196 Lewisham High Street, SE13 6LS. Nearest Tube: Lewisham DLR.
Things to Do This Weekend in Bristol
Until Saturday 23rd April. £15.
For the theatre-lovers in Bristol, this weekend marks one of the last chances you’ll get to see In Your Face Theatre’s production of Trainspotting. But this is no ordinary version of Irvine Welsh’s much loved tale of hedonism in late ’80s Edinburgh – the production is performed in the tunnels of Temple Meads.
The immersive show, produced in conjunction with King’s Head Theatre, is part of Tobacco Factory Theatre’s BEYOND series, and pulls no punches in its vivid depictions of the drugs, sex and violence. The show’s run got extended until next weekend thanks to popular demand, so get booking ASAP!
Location: The Loco Klub, Clocktower Yard, BS1 6QH.
Things to Do This Weekend in Manchester
Tick Tock Unlock

There’s regular live music, comedy, film and art exhibitions, as well as some seriously decent grub served. Naturally booze has played a large role in the venue’s success with amazing cask ales and premium craft beers on offer, as well as frozen cocktails and a wide range of teas and coffees.
