Things to Do This Weekend in London
Stokey Beer Fest
Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th February. £32.
Stokey Beer Fest is back for 2018 this weekend and we’re promised it’s going to be bigger and better than ever. 4 sessions over 2 days will bring Joes and Janes 14 fantastic producers from around the UK and beyond. Tickets are for either an afternoon or evening session, and include a festival glass and a third of a pint of craft beer from each of the breweries.
This year’s line-up includes the likes of Seven Sisters Brewery, Hammerton Brewery and Brewheadz. There’s also Oliver’s Cider and Square Root Soda if beer’s not your thing – but then you should probably question why you’re going to a beer fest…
Location: Abney Public Hall, 73a Stoke Newington, Church Street, N16 0AS. Nearest Station: Stoke Newington.

Fish & Chips Supper Cruise
Thursday 15th February. £18.
Did you know that Birmingham boasts more canals than Venice? Well, now you do. And it’s about time we started utilising them more, so this Thursday we suggest you head down to Sherborne Wharf and get involved in their Fish & Chips Supper Cruise!
Ideal for the ‘adventurous boater’, the 2-hour cruise will start off from the canal outside the ICC in Brindleyplace, taking in the sights and sounds of the city at night. Cruisers will first head to Sherborne Wharf to pick up their fish and chip suppers before carrying on up Oozells Street Loop and Icknield Port Loop before heading out towards Edgbaston Reservoir.
Location: Canal outside ICC, 2 Brunswick Street, B1 2JF.

Hush Hush Secret Theatre
Friday 16th February. Pay What You Want.
You’ve all heard of Secret Cinema but this February and April, The Lowry in Manchester is throwing an evening of theatre where you have no idea what you are letting yourself in for until you turn up. It’s called Hush Hush and the concept is simple; turn up to a critically-acclaimed performance without knowing what it is.
Performances have been picked from places such as the Edinburgh Fringe or the Southbank’s arts programme, so the pedigree is big. It’s also got the added bonus that you can’t really leave disappointed as at the end, you ‘pay what you want’.
Location: The Lowry, Pier 8, The Quays, M50 3AZ..
