Whether you’re a straight up slammer or a slow-time sipper when it comes to the Mexican amber nectar, this weekend sees the London Tequila Festival offering up over 30 different Tequilas in one big celebration of the agave in Greenwich.

Upon arrival your Tequila tasting journey will commence with a complimentary shot along with a Tequila bible, which will guide you through your Tequila experience. There’ll also be live music and DJ’s throughout the night, and a whole load of tacos and fajitas to ensure you don’t get famished.

Vinery London Pop-Up
Friday 18th August. You Decide.

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of heading to the German capital, you may well have experienced the Berliner way of paying for your booze – I.E. you pay what you want. Well, this weekend the concept is heading to London for Vinery London.

The event will be hosted at the Soho Collective in Soho and the concept is simple; you rent a glass and drink some exceptionally tasty wine. Patrons then pay what they want at the end, according to what they think the evening was worth and how much they had. Just don’t be a cheapskate!

Location: The Soho Collective, 12 Moor Street, W1D 5NG. Nearest Tube: Tottenham Court Road.

Things to Do This Weekend in Oxford

Wibit Inflatable Sports Aqua Park
Until Sunday 3rd September. £16 Per Car.

While it may be a bit of trek to the Cotswolds, there’s one very good reason you should before the summer is over. It’s called Wibit, and it’s the most incredible inflatable obstacle course you’ve ever seen. The best bit? It’s on water! The Wibit Inflatable Sports Aqua Park is a giant set of inflatable obstacles floating on one of Cotswold Country Park’s many lakes.

We’re talking trampolines, ropes, bridges, tunnels, bouncing pillows, stepping stones, rolling balls and, yes, slides. The Cotswold Country Park itself features 150 lakes in total, so if obstacles don’t sound your bag, you can hire boats and BBQs, go on a lakeside walks, or just sunbathe on its beaches. A perfect day out for any family!

Location: Cotswold Country Park and Beach, Spratsgate Lane, Shorncote, Gloucestershire, GL7 6DF.

Eat at Hawker Yard
Fridays and Saturdays. Free.

Inspired by the hawker centres of Asia and the ruin bars of Budapest, Hawker Yard is a local, independent food adventure with global inspiration. The unique street food space homes some of the best culinary stars Birmingham has to offer, making it a great place to start the evening.

The bars and stalls are housed in shipping containers which surround a central mezzanine built out of brand new scaffolding gear, all dressed up with paper lanterns, festoon lighting and rough-hewn furniture. Oh, and the food is naturally incredible at each stall!

Location: 62-70 Pershore Street, B5 4RR.
