Truman Markets returns this Thursday for a festive spectacular at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. With an exclusive showcase of its seven markets for the ‘Winter Night Market’, for one night only Ely’s Yard will be taken over by an abundance of street food traders and entertainment provided by Junkyard Golf Club and Shuttle Club.
Food will be supplied by the likes of Italian vegan’s Pomodoro E Basilico, British barbecue burgers from Caboose, plus chicken extraordinaire Mother Clucker. There’ll also be carol singing from London City Voices Choir, and you’ll be supplied with mulled wine and winter cocktails to warm those cockles.

The Giant Cheeseboard

If you’re regular readers of our ‘Things to Do…’ posts, you’ll know just how excited we get for a cheese festival. Well, this weekend sees one of the best cheesy concepts we’ve seen head to Greenwich with London first ever Giant Cheese Board. We’re talking unlimited cheese and mulled wine on one giant cheeseboard… yeah. We know.
It’s taking place at the recently re-opened Studio 338; their amazing Terrace will be turned into a massive, oversized cheese board. One you can walk around on as if you’re in a giant’s kitchen. Then at night, this Cheese Fest will turn into a party with some of London’s best DJs coming down to play. What more could you possibly want from a weekend?!
Location: Studio 338, 338 Boord Street, SE10 0BF. Nearest Tube: North Greenwich.
