Forget Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland, Clapham Common’s Winterville is the ultimate festive pop-up this winter and it opens this Thursday. Featuring its biggest line-up of street food traders from Street Feast yet, Winterville also boats some of the capital’s finest pop-up entertainers with the likes of Plonk Golf, Backyard Cinema and the Spiegeltent all getting involved.

Taste of London: The Festive Edition

Taste of London is back this weekend for its Festive Edition! The definitive showcase of the capital’s best restaurants, top chefs and leading food and drink brands, East London’s Tobacco Dock will be transformed into a foodie wonderland with festive grub, yuletide tipples and a whole load of masterclasses to get involved with.
As always, the restaurant line-up is impressive to say the least with the likes of Nonna Tonda, Barbecoa, Bao and Hopper’s, and Xu and Rigo all serving dishes across the weekend. Cocktail masterclasses are also a highlight, while the festival’s shopping quarter will pack plenty of edible Christmas gifts. Find out more here.

Things to Do This Weekend in Manchester
Ice Village Manchester 2018

Having opened the Christmas Markets last weekend, Manchester’s much-anticipated Ice Village has officially been launched at the Cathedral Gardens. 250 tonnes of ice have been used to create sculptures of everything from a yeti and a polar bear, to Santa and Rudolph.
Set against a backdrop of snow-covered trees and twinkling lights, there’s plenty of other attractions in the Ice Village baring just sculptures. Alongside elves at the Ice Cavern and Santa at his Grotto, there’s also an Arctic Bar, arctic games, traditional Christmas market stalls, and even an Ice Rink. Perfect for the whole family! Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Festival

Brought to you by the people behind The Great British Gin Festival and Rum & Reggae Festival, DEPOT Cardiff welcomes The Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Festival this Saturday. Celebrating the very best Britain has to offer, what could be better than spending the day sipping on wine while gorging on cheese and chocolate?
Upon entry, you’ll be handed a welcome drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), a sample glass and the festival ‘Bible’, before checking out talks and demos from UK specialists and sampling what the stalls have to offer. This is a family friendly event, so expect live entertainment and even some face painting. Get your tickets here.

Things to Do This Weekend in Bristol
Bristol ‘Free From’ Festival
Saturday 17th November. £5-10.
Bristol is hosting the UK’s first ever ‘Free From’ Festival this weekend. Focusing on those who live their lives free-from gluten, dairy or refined sugar, the festival will be showcasing some of the UK’s best ‘free from’ products with the likes of sugar-free chocolate and gluten-free bakes on show.
Gluten-free beer, organic wine, and refined sugar-free beverages will be available at the venue’s bar, while chefs and speakers will hold live demos. There’ll also be live music throughout the day. Just be warned that it is a cash alone event, so head to the cash point on the way to The Passenger Shed!
