Secret Westworld Website Shows Six Different Parks
Probably our favourite new show of 2017, Westworld will be back in the springtime for a second series. And not only did it get a brand new trailer during the Super Bowl, the ad also presented a binary code to be unscrambled by Reddit readers. The code leads to a mysterious website which hints that there could be as many as five other different parks akin to ‘Westworld’.
After the revelation at the end of season one that there could be a Samurai World as well as Westworld, HBO have launched a new secret site which reveals there are at least six parks in the show. Named ‘Delos Destinations’, the website allows users to visit an ‘Experience’ page which shows a scroll consisting of said parks.
The first park is reserved for Westworld, while another shows a blurred green region that many are speculating to be Samurai World’s which was revealed at the end of season one. Multiple worlds has been confirmed by co-creator Jonathon Nolan, who said; “I would say the conception of the show from the beginning is we would slowly but surely learn more about the world and worlds our hosts inhabit. There’s a lot more story to tell in Westworld but that doesn’t mean we will only be in Westworld,”
The trailer for Westworld season two confirms that Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright and James Marsden will all be returning, and it looks like Rachel Wood and Newton are leading a revolt. It’s been confirmed that the second season of Westworld is due to premiere in the States on 22nd April on HBO and we’d expect it to reach the UK soon after on Sky Atlantic.
