Who’s That Girl: The Handmaid’s Tale’s Yvonne Strahovski
It’s probably one of the most difficult watches on TV at the moment, but we’re still fully engrossed in the second season of The Handmaid’s Tale. And while she may play an all-round bitch, Mrs Waterford AKA. Yvonne Strahovski does make viewing that little bit easier!
Playing the lady of the house in The Handmaid’s Tale, chances are you would have come across Australian actress Yvonne Strahovski before. As well as starring opposite Elizabeth Moss in the Channel 4 and Hulu series, she’s also starred in a number of TV series and films, including Dexter and Manhattan Night.
Yvonne Jaqueline Strzechowski, to give her her full name, is probably best known for portraying CIA Agent Sarah Walker in the NBC television series Chuck, her first big break in TV. Born in Sydney to Polish parents, she’s also starred as Hannah McKay in the Showtime series Dexter.
More recently, Strahovski played CIA agent Kate Morgan in 24: Live Another Day. In 2015, she appeared in the US period drama The Astronaut Wives Club as Rene Carpenter, and she’s also appeared in I, Frankenstein, All I See Is You, He’s Out There and US comedy The Guilt Trip.
But it’s her role as Serena in The Handmaid’s Tale which has really caught our attention. Unlike in the show, however, Strahovski isn’t afraid to show some skin in real life. Take a look at her hottest images below…
