Swedish label Acne has introduced its first ever eyewear for their Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
Focused on colour and shape, the seven-piece line offers a mix of sunglass styles for the current season, including designs debuted at its autumn/winter 2015 runway shows.
The Scandinavian brand have designed the styles to be unisex but there are some stand out options for Joes including the thick-rimmed ‘Library’ frame and the more delicate gold metal ‘Spitfire’, which unquestionable takes inspiration from the iconic Aviator.
Acne says that “lens treatments and frame shades are crucial to the collection”, carrying its signature use of vivid colours across the line. As a result, the collection is treated to transparent pink, yellow and green lenses, as well as boldly-coloured acetate frames, in opaque and translucent options.
They might be too bold for some, but if you can’t add a touch of playfulness to your eyewear, where can you?
Acne’s goal last year was to ensure 20 percent of all fabrics used in their products should be made of organic cotton or some similar environmentally stable material. So they’re making some green effort too.
The Acne Studios eyewear collection is available now in Acne stores worldwide and on their Website. These are high quality sunglasses so prices start at around £240.
