Size? Update the adidas Originals TRX Runner from the Archive
Size? have been teaming up with adidas Originals for a fair while now, releasing a range of updated silhouettes from the Three Stripes back catalogue. Coming under the banner of the Archive collection, the latest drop from the duo is the return of the adidas Originals TRX Runner in two exclusive colourways.
The TRX was first introduced in the mid 70’s and has taken on many forms since. First offered as a lightweight running shoe, variations in the both the panelling on the upper and midsole construction development the trainer’s performance year after year.
With the durable and comfortable combo of suede and nylon adoring the upper, the 2018 itineration of the TRX Runner takes its inspiration from the original 1984 multi-ridged midsole, but updates it with more a recognisable single ridge that sweeps all the way across.
The TRX Runner Archive will be available in two very traditional colourways which pay homage to its heritage. The first being an understated tonal grey colourway which incorporates a deeper shade on the primary panels, and a slightly lighter version features on the nylon underlay.
The second is for Joes who like their footwear with a bit more vibrancy. Probably the most well-known associate of the TRX, the second comes in bright orange suede and nylon with accented by yellow leather hits on the stripes and heel panel. The sunburst also carries over onto the traditional shock-absorbent midsole unit.
The Size? exclusive adidas Originals TRX Runner is available over at the Size? Website from the morning of Friday 29th June. Each pair will be priced at £85.
Earlier this year Size? and adidas Originals teamed up for the re-release of the Marathon TR.
