adidas Originals Gazelle Super
2016 was a stellar year for trainer reissues with the likes of the Nike Classic Cortez and the Puma Clyde back and looking as good as ever. adidas also threw in their hat last year with a reissue of the 1991 Gazelle, and this year they’re set to go one better with the updated and gorgeous looking adidas Originals Gazelle Super.
Set to hits the shops and the interweb tomorrow, the adidas Original Gazelle Super is sure to be one of the biggest footwear stories of 2017 so far. Having been reissued last year, the iconic 1987 low-top is being brought back with an altered DNA and in a pair of OG inspired colourways that continue to sit perfectly on any classic Originals style.
Perfectly rendered in bright Red and, our personal favourite, light Blue, both pairs of the new Gazelle Super will be fitted with the usual Gazelle premium suede leather upper, alongside some leather detailing and metallic-gold branding.
There’s also some retro adidas typeface being embellished on the midsole and on its slim toe box, which resemble that used on the Samba Super of the same era. The Gazelle Super is simple enough with a combo of clean, singular colours as a foundation, finished off with enough detailing to let you know you’re wearing something special.
The adidas Originals Gazelle Super will be available from Thursday 19th January at various retailers including the likes of size? Both the light Red and light Blue versions should set you back around the £80 mark.
