adidas have dipped into their extensive archive to yet again drop another classic. Originally released in 1979 to make nocturnal runner Joes more visible in the twilight, take a look at the reintroduce the Nite Jogger!
Styled to get noticed on the street, the updated Nite Jogger is an upgraded version of the iconic night runner. In the original colours which have informed plenty of adidas apparel, these trainers are reissued in a one-piece leather upper with suede overlays to support the toe and laceset.
The lightweight and low profile silhouette features fluorescent accents alongside a studded gum sole unit with EVA midsole for additional traction and supportive cushioning when you’re on the run.
The obvious stand out feature on the vintage colourway is the distinctive Solar Orange three stripes on the side panels and trim to the rear quarter. While they add a welcome touch of the retro, they were also originally added to warn motorists of joggers.
The Nite Jogger is finished with trefoil branding on the reflective heel tab, Ghilly lacing and a Gold branded tongue with ‘NITE JOGGER’ stitched on.
We love the original Vintage White, Solar Orange and Bold Blue colourway but if you want something a little more subtle, the Nite Jogger also comes in a Core Black, Core Black and Bold Onix colourway. There’s also some apparel to compliment the collection which comes with all the Orange accents could you possibly want.
The adidas Originals Nite Jogger is released today from various websites, including End Clothing and Size?, where they’ll be priced around the £80 mark. We reckon you’ll need to be quick though, these beauties won’t be sticking around!
