adidas Originals = Pharrell Williams ‘Hu Holi’ Footwear Capsule
adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams have teamed up for the first time in 2018 with their spring/summer collection which pays homage to the Holi Festival and the unity of colour. As part of that new eye-catching ‘Hu Holi’ collaboration, Pharrell and the Three Stripes have announced a vibrant footwear range which uses powder-dyeing techniques to reference the ancient Indian festival.
Following the all-white ‘Blank Canvas’ capsule released last week, adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams have teamed up again for a footwear capsule collection inspired by the Hindu Holi festival. The ‘Hu Holi’ collection sees silhouettes get their colourways by using a powder-dyeing technique, resulting in each piece being entirely unique and one-of-a-kind.
The footwear capsule adds to the apparel collection of track tops, T-shirts, shorts and trackpants, and sees classic adidas Originals trainers taken by Pharrell and given iconic Adicolor palettes of Blue, Green, Yellow and Red.
The footwear capsule includes the Stan Smith and Tennis Hu PK silhouettes, with both trainers featuring powder-dyed uppers and contrasting white lining and midsoles – ideal for long summer days where you can afford to be a little braver with your tones.
The adidas Original = Pharrell Williams ‘Hu Holi’ footwear capsule collection is set to drop in locations in India on 2nd March, before arriving globally two weeks later on 16th March. Head over to the adidas Website for more details.
