adidas Originals Suisse

Another day, another adidas Originals release from size?, and this one may be our favourite yet. Get reacquainted with the classic Suisse.
Originally released back in 1987, the Suisse was designed for casual use as an everyday trainer. The silhouette has a lot in common with its older sibling, the Munchen, which was released 11 years previously. The sole was purpose made for training, with a multi-textured outsole with suction cup details to allow for the best grip possible on a variety of surfaces, both indoor and outdoor.
The first mention of the Suisse, however, was in the Swiss edition of an 1982 adidas Originals catalogue, which immediately sparked rumours and a comparison between the Munchen.
Until last year, the Suisse had been dormant for 10 years but the release of the original red colourway alongside two archive inspired palettes returned, and made us fall in love all over again.
This latest incarnation features the classic Black and White colourway that’s the signature to adidas. The White leather upper with Black leather stripes and heel sit on a gum sole, making for an iconic look.
The adidas Originals Suisse is a size? UK exclusive is released today (Friday 8th May) on the size? Website and in all size? Stores. They’re also very reasonably priced at £67.
