British label Baracuta have teamed up with Japanese retailers Isetan, Ships and Edifice to reinvent their iconic G9 silhouette jacket, and we love the results!
Each brand has ever so slightly tweaked the classic design, reworking the patterned lining and adding some contemporary detail to produce a limited edition collection for Spring/Summer 2015.
Isetan’s take on the G9 sees the usual Fraser Tartan lining gone and replaced with a floral print from British department store Liberty London, while original features like the umbrella back vent and double fastening collar still appear untouched.
Clothing store Ships has opted for a Chapman Blue Tartan cotton lining and adjustable cuffs which has been adapted from the Baracuta G4 in place of the original ribbed style.
To finish off the collection, Edifice have created a British-inspired iteration, which uses a striped cotton fabric from British shirt makers Thomas Mason to line the piece.
All three jackets are now available at the Baracuta Website, with each piece in the collection priced at £335.
